How Do I Become a Member?
Prior to joining the Friday AM Connection Club, we encourage you to be our guest to ensure it is a good fit for you. You may be our guest 1 time (we pay for your breakfast) but can attend as many meetings you like, prior to making a decision to join our club. You are, however, required to pay for your own breakfast once you've been our guest.
In order to become a Friday AM Connection Club Member, you must meet the following criteria:
Member in good standing with the Fremont Chamber of Commerce- Member of the Connection Club program through the Chamber (allows you to join up to 2 Chamber-sponsored Connection Clubs)
- Your business is not already represented by one of our members OR you will only promote a service that is not currently promoted by one of our members. For example, commercial real estate vs. residential real estate or life insurance vs. property insurance.
- Completed the Notice to Join form and faxed to the Chamber (see the Chair or Vice-Chair). This form tells the Chamber that we have approved your Membership and have confirmed your status with the Chamber (or that you will be contacting the Chamber shortly to join, etc.).
How Much Does it Cost to Join?
The Chamber of Commerce and Connection Club fees are determined by the Chamber of Commerce, depending upon the size and type of company you have. Please contact the Chamber for more information.
Our dues are $30/month*, which covers your breakfasts and more. If you join on the last Friday of the month, and have only been a guest once, your dues are not effective until the next month. If you join mid month, the full dues amount is due (we do not prorate dues nor offer refunds). For sake of ease, we recommend you pay your dues in quarterly installments. Please give your check, payable to Friday AM Connection Club, to Joyce Twomey.
Once you have been a member for one year, we will pay your Chamber of Commerce Connection Club renewal fees (currently $30) on your behalf. Just give your invoice to our treasurer, Joyce Twomey.
*If you choose to prepay for 3 months in advance, the fee is $25/month. However, we do not issue prorated refunds of any kind.
